(Learning) Curve

Every curve is a learning curve,

You learn that people are permeable things.

Entering someone’s life is no trouble at all;

Meaning something to them–

Now that’s where the trouble starts.

External factors come into play:

Dead nans, boyfriends, bus times, Italians,

All out of our control.

When it works, it’ll be worth it.

They say

A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet,

And a friend is a second self.

Do yourself a favour and say hi.
